Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Ensure all food safety practices are adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients. Maintain an organised workstation, keeping all utensils and equipment clean and ready for use. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food production. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. A culinary background or interest in food preparation will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
