We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary arts. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing orders.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
