Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery. Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous. Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate measurement and portioning of ingredients. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A passion for food and providing high-quality service is highly valued.
