We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. You will be required to be fully flexible. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers, contributing to their overall dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders and established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks, including slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A passion for food preparation and creating delicious sandwiches that delight customers.

Pay: 8.80-12.21 per hour
