Job Description
We are hiring a Part Time Assistant to join our Subway team in Spar Fresh, Maghera!
Approximately
16 hours per week.
Shifts will cover mornings, evenings and weekends.
Full training will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
will include but are not limited to:Preparing and serving food
-- making sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to Subway specifications.Providing excellent customer service
-- greeting customers, taking orders, recommending menu items, and ensuring a positive experience.Maintaining food safety standards
-- following hygiene rules, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures.Keeping the work place clean
-- cleaning counters, equipment and dining areas to maintain brand standards.Storing and preparing ingredients
-- prepping vegetables, baking bread, and organising food storage areas according to safety guidelines.Receiving and checking deliveries
-- verifying stock, rotating inventory, and storing items properly.Handling light paperwork or POS tasks
-- operating the cash register, processing payments, and completing simple documentation when needed.Working as part of a team
-- supporting coworkers during busy periods and maintaining smooth operations.Maintaining personal hygiene and uniform standards
-- following Subway's appearance expectations and cleanliness rules.Ensuring a safe working environment
-- following safety procedures to protect staff and guestsJob Type: Part-time
