As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Your role will also involve engaging with customers and promoting our menu offerings through upselling techniques.

Duties

Prepare high-quality sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain food safety standards by ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Assist in the preparation of other food items as required, adhering to kitchen protocols. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including regular cleaning of work surfaces and equipment. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for handling orders and managing inventory effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. A passion for food and a desire to create enjoyable dining experiences for customers.
