Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Artist to join our Northolt team on a Part Time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As a Sandwich Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious sandwiches while providing excellent customer service. This position requires effective time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a Part Time vacancy with overtime available. Weekends and weekdays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational procedures. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike.
