Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or a culinary role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen operations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients and managing portion sizes. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
