This is for the Subway based inside the SPAR on Liverpool Road, PR84PL

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Provide knowledgeable recommendations and advice on products Respond to customer requests, take special orders, and prepare customized meals Ensure a positive customer experience by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.

Food Preparation & Handling:

Slice, prepare, and package meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter and display cases. Ensure all products are properly labelled with prices, ingredients, allergens and any necessary handling or storage instructions. Ensure food is cooked to standard following all cooking instructions Ensure all hot food items are temperature checked Assist with the preparation of ready-to-eat sandwiches, and other food items. Monitor product freshness and quality, ensuring that any items nearing expiration are removed from display and replaced as necessary.

Food Safety & Hygiene:

Follow all health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene at the counter. Adhere to all food safety practices, including hand washing, proper storage, and handling of food items. Regularly sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.

Other Duties:

Assist with store opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing Perform any other duties as required by the Subway Manager or Store Manager.
