We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches and ensuring that every customer enjoys a high-quality dining experience. Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to customer orders and established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitised. Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Conduct regular inventory checks of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation within a restaurant or kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Basic maths skills for managing ingredient quantities and portion control. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing exceptional customer service. A friendly disposition with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
