Unlock Your Event Management Potential: Internship Opportunity at the Forefront of UK Events!

Ready to dive headfirst into the exhilarating world of large-scale event logistics and sanitation with the industry leader?

At PTL (www.ptl.uk.com), we're not just about providing event sanitation - we're the backbone that keeps some of the UK's most iconic and high-profile events running smoothly and hygienically! From the solemn grandeur of His Majesty the King's Coronation and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral to the electrifying atmosphere of BST Hyde Park, All Points East, and countless other major festivals, sporting events, and celebrations, PTL is the trusted name behind the scenes.

Now, we're offering an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Events Management student from Cardiff Metropolitan University to join our dynamic team for a hands-on internship experience like no other!

Imagine this:

You'll be working directly alongside our Head of Event Sales, gaining invaluable insights into the entire event lifecycle from the initial client brief to the successful delivery on-site. This isn't just about making coffee (though a good brew is always appreciated!). You'll be immersed in the real-world operations of a leading event supplier, getting a genuine feel for the fast-paced and exciting events industry.

Your Adventure Will Include:

Shadowing and supporting our Head of Event Sales in their day-to-day activities.

Assisting with crucial administrative tasks that underpin successful event delivery (think organisation, record-keeping, and communication).

Gaining exposure to the entire sales process, from initial enquiries to contract management.

Learning about the diverse logistical challenges and solutions involved in providing sanitation for events of all sizes.

Developing your understanding of client relationship management by observing interactions with high-profile event professionals.

Potentially getting involved in site visits or preparations (depending on event schedules and your progress).

Gaining a holistic understanding of how a leading event supplier operates, from sales and logistics to operations and client management.

Becoming an integral part of a friendly and experienced team who are passionate about what they do.

Who We're Looking For:

A proactive individual with a genuine passion for the events industry and a desire to learn.

Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive "can-do" attitude and a willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks.

Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).

Crucially, you must have your own transport and be able to reliably commute to our Head Office in Bridgend.

The Opportunity:

This is a paid internship running from May to September, offering you a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience, build your professional network, and enhance your CV with real-world achievements. You'll be based at our Head Office in Bridgend, working alongside industry experts and gaining insights into the inner workings of a leading event supplier.

Ready to Launch Your Event Career?

Don't miss this incredible chance to gain invaluable experience with a company that's at the heart of the UK's most spectacular events! If you're a driven Events Management student looking for a dynamic and engaging internship, we want to hear from you.
