Job Title: Summer Sports Coach for Primary School-Aged Children

Dates - Monday July 28th - Friday August 1st 2025.

Location - Preston

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC MULTI - SPORTS COACH TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

Applicants will work at a Primary School in the Preston area leading and engaging primary school-aged children in various sports activities during the Summer holidays.

Hourly rate is 13 per hour.

Ongoing job progression and training will be made available for the right person.

Successful candidate(s) will demonstrate excellent knowledge and hold qualifications of:

- Relevant qualifications and Coaching Certificates of a minimum NGB level 2

-Safeguarding Certificate- First Aid Certificate- Enhanced DBS clearance and/or no convictions. (mandatory)

- Various other level 1 or 2 NGB Certificates in coaching sports would be an advantage.

- Previous coaching in a school environment and to children aged 4 - 11 would be highly beneficial to the applicant.

- Competency to perform at consistently high standards.

Be able to plan and deliver a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs to different ages.

Ensure safety of children at all times. Ensure fun and good progressions from to warm up to core content to cool down.

Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles.

To liaise well with staff and parents.

Own transport is required, reliable with strong time management skills.

Applicants must also be self-motivated and have a passion for coaching and inspiring young people through engagement and participation in physical activity and sport.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
