THE ROLE:
The SUN Project Officer will be based at the University of Portsmouth within the Recruitment and Outreach team, working under the direction of the SUN Project Leader. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Leaders and Project Facilitators based at partner institutions and will work primarily (but not exclusively) across Hampshire, Dorset, and the Isle of Wight.

• Support the development, promotion, coordination, and delivery of all aspects of the SUN\'s strategic and targeted outreach programme (both on-and-off campus) to students in Years 7-13, and their key influencers. This includes the coordination and delivery of attainment-raising activities.
• Identify opportunities to promote the SUN\'s online resources with schools and oversee the dissemination of this information across the region.
• To work collaboratively with SUN partner organisations and the SUN central team to share best practice and deliver a high-quality programme that achieves the Uni Connect programme\'s targets.
• Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans across the SUN\'s outreach programme.

Due to the terms and conditions associated with the funding of the Uni Connect programme, the post-holder\'s sole responsibility will be to contribute to the work of the Southern Universities Network and not to undertake any recruitment, outreach, or marketing activity on behalf of the University of Portsmouth.
