to lead and assist with gymnastics classes on Sundays. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a gymnastics setting, and will be responsible for planning and delivering fun, safe, and engaging classes that promote skill development, fitness, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach recreational or competitive gymnastics classes for children.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Demonstrate techniques and assist students in learning basic to advanced gymnastics skills.
Set up and take down equipment before and after classes.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Enforce safety guidelines and gym policies at all times.
Assist with special events or showcases as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience coaching or assisting gymnastics classes.
Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and safety practices.
Ability to lead groups of children with energy, patience, and enthusiasm.
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Background check clearance.
Coaching certification from a recognized gymnastics body (e.g., USAG, BG, Gymnastics Australia, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children of various ages and skill levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
Flexibility to work occasional events or cover other shifts if needed.
