Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dependable, organised, and motivated individual to join our team as Stock Room Supervisor at our brand-new Superstore opening in Abbey Wood Shopping Park.




As Stock Room Supervisor, you'll play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring that stock is received, sorted, stored, and transferred efficiently. You'll work closely with the retail team to support day-to-day operations, helping create a seamless shopping experience for our customers and a positive environment for our volunteers.

37.5 hours per week, 5 days in 7

Salary:

25,633 - 26,220, dependent on experience

Contract type:

Permanent position

Key responsibilities:



Managing the daily operation of the stock room, ensuring it runs smoothly and safely Playing a key role in helping the wider team reach targets and KPIs, working closely with the Manager and Assistant Manager Running the shop floor in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager Receiving, processing, and organising incoming donations Coordinating stock flow to the shop floor and other retail outlets Supporting store staff and volunteers with stock needs and replenishment Maintaining accurate records and inventory systems Upholding health and safety standards and promoting safe working practices

What we are looking for:



Experience in stock handling, warehouse, or back-of-house retail environments Strong organisational skills with attention to detail A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving Ability to earn trust, motivate volunteers, and collaborate effectively Confidence using stock management systems, spreadsheets, and email Ability to handle the demands of a busy stock room Open and adaptable to change and able to support others through it
