We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Supervising Social Worker who shares this passion to join our small, friendly, and supportive team. The role is part time working
3 days per week (Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday
and offers a hybrid working model, mostly working from home (computer provided) with occasional requirements to attend the office located in Loughton.

Duties and responsibilities for the SSW role
supervise foster care placements, helping to ensure that the welfare of children and young people placed in the agency's foster care households is safeguarded, and their well-being and development are promoted.
To support a maximum of 8/10 households
act as supervising social worker to several the agency's foster carers, providing them with support, guidance and supervision.
Undertake annual appraisals of carers
To support RM with day-to-day tasks within the Fostering Regulations
assist in identifying and addressing the training and developmental needs of our foster carers.
promote the highest standards of professional social work practice and foster care.
work in partnership with the responsible local authority in the planning and review of arrangements for children/young people placed in the agency's foster care homes.

A recognised Social Work qualification
Registered with Social Work England
Experience of working in fostering
A driver and mileage will be paid
