We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support the managers in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry who are eager to develop their leadership skills in a dynamic environment. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the managers in delivering exceptional standards of guest service. You will be the next in-line if and when the Manager or Assistant Manager is not around and will lead 1/2 shifts a week. You will be able to motivate and lead a team to achieve targets and goals.
Duties
Assist in managing restaurant operations, including staff supervision and recruitment.
Help maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support the training and development of front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
Supervise daily activities within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring efficient workflow.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager & Assistant to enhance guest experiences.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
Assist in inventory management, managing stock levels.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of all restaurant areas, including compliance with health regulations.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members effectively.
Experience in food preparation or production within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
Experience in team management skills, with the ability to supervise staff efficiently.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike.
Previous experience as a Supervisor or ready to take the next step up.
Detail oriented, process driven and have the ability to solve problems in a high-volume, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
Ability to give direction, work in a team environment, and autonomously.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Positive and hard-working attitude.
