Overview
Supervisor
To maximise all revenue opportunities in your area, to assist in leading the team and to build and assist in building long term client relationships.
Report to: Store Manager
Overall Purpose of the Job

  • To support the leadership team in the active management of the store and to be capable of deputising for the store manager.
  • To maximise and maintain sales through effective teamwork
  • To actively encourage each member of the sales team by setting quality standards and offering assistance to promote focus on quality.
  • To be aware of key performance areas as communicated by the company and update these monthly.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Client Relationships * Develop a strong understanding of the eleventy customer and their needs.
  • Ensure that all client requests, returns, and exchanges are dealt with inline with the company policy referring to the store manager when necessary.
  • Establish, teach and demonstrate legendary customer service skills.
Leadership * Assist the leadership team in coaching and developing the team to meet budget expectations.
  • When deputising for the store manager communicate relevant company and store information to the associates.
  • Working with the store leadership team to ensure that all daily tasks are delegated to run the store effectively and to motivate and involve staff.
  • Administrate team KPI's on a regular basis, and give regular feedback to the store manager on staff performance.
  • To assist the store leadership team in providing and organising training and development opportunities. Training should be carried out in accordance with company policy i.e. induction, weekly training session, particularly emphasising the Customer Service.
  • To take responsibility for own personal development in discussion with the store manager.
  • Maintain a good standard of personal appearance appropriate to the brand, in accordance with eleventy style.
Merchandise Management * Assist the store leadership team to ensure that company visual merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that the required store house keeping standards are maintained.
  • To be aware of best sellers, slow sellers, promotions and advertised lines.
  • To be aware of seasonal ranges, stock holding and stock deliveries and to ensure that stockrooms are organised in a manner to achieve maximum sales.
  • Implement company stock control procedures and assist the store leadership team in ensuring that stock loses are within the company performance parameters.
  • To communicate with the store leadership team on any quality issues.
Point of Sale and Branch Administration * Be fully conversant with sales systems and methods of payments.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of SYSDAT and other systems and ensure that the correct procedures for all systems are implemented and followed.
  • Ensure that cashing up and banking procedures are correctly and accurately adhered to.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of company systems and ensure that all documentation including reports/email are completed accurately and timely.
Commercial * To keep up to date with store sales performance to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure that staff coverage is well planned and within set budgeted hours, in order to achieve maximum sales.
  • To support the team in increasing the branch mailing list.
  • To work with the store leadership team to analyse store performance to achieve effective commercial decisions.
  • To assist the store leadership team with company promotional activities e.g. sales, offers, advertising.
  • To be aware of all local development and competitors activities which affect store sales and to inform the store manager of any threats.
  • To inform the store leadership team of any local developments or competitor activity that affects your branch sales.
  • To work with the store leadership team to analyse store performance to achieve effective commercial decisions.
  • Liaise with the store leadership team on keeping staff up-to-date with weekly branch sales achievements.
Security * Inform management of any incidents or theft of company property.
  • Ensure security of company property my maintaining vigilance of the branch at all times.
  • To carry out regular bag/locker checks.
Health and Safety * Ensure that the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
  • Ensure that the First Aid box is regularly checked and re-filled.
