We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals while fostering a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to implement training programmes for staff on culinary techniques and hospitality skills.

Requirements



Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or culinary environment is essential. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Experience as a barista or in serving roles will be considered an asset. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact positively with staff and customers alike. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
