Duties
Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.
Oversee team management, ensuring staff are motivated and performing at their best.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations.
Support the Head Chef in menu planning and culinary development.
Train new staff members on kitchen procedures and food preparation techniques.
Help coordinate service during busy periods, including bartending when necessary.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
Proven experience in a culinary role, with strong food preparation skills.
Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in food production processes within a kitchen setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Bartending experience is advantageous but not essential.
A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
