Job Description

The Flour Pot Bakery is a retail and wholesale artisan bakery with twelve stores in Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

We are seeking an experienced supervisor to join our store at Sydney Street in the heart of the North Laine. The right candidate will have similar experience in a high quality cafe environment, have a good understanding and passion for the high end coffee world, with practical know-how around an espresso machine a must. Creating a fantastic customer experience and workplace environment for your team is crucial to this role, as well as personality, drive and a level head. Bar experience is not essential, but desirable.

The site is in a prime location and drives a high footfall of local traders, shoppers and tourists.

Opening at 8am every day (bar Sunday, where we open at 9am), we get a steady trade of local trades for their morning coffee and breakfast fix, before moving onto the shoppers and those visiting Brighton for a spot of lunch or coffee. The store then closes at 6pm (apart from Sunday where we shut at 5pm).

Shift patterns are normally split two three, either being an open 7am-4pm or a close 9am - 6:30pm.
