About The Role



Due to winning a new contract we are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to manage an onsite cleaning team within a busy environment.



Please note you will need your own transport to get to this site





Job Purpose



To supervise a team of cleaners and ensure service delivery standards and specifications are met and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee and carry out on-site cleaning duties in line with scheduled rotas and service specifications. Maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, ensuring expectations are consistently met. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, including task sign-offs. Ensure cleaning materials and machinery are available, well-maintained, and used safely. Deliver all periodical cleans to required standards and timescales, ensuring customer sign-off. Support cleaning schedules where required to maintain seamless service delivery.

Team Management:


Handle first-stage HR and employee relations issues in line with company policies, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion. Assist with recruitment of multi-service colleagues, ensuring all processes and standards are followed. Support the Site Manager in ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions. Train and induct new staff, ensuring they understand their role, performance expectations, company values, and health & safety requirements.

Health & Safety and Compliance:


Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others. Report any health & safety incidents or concerns promptly and appropriately. Ensure all team members are trained in and adhere to Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations. Uphold company policies on equality, diversity, and inclusion.

What We're Looking For:


Experience in a supervisory cleaning or facilities role. Strong leadership and communication skills. A proactive, solution-focused attitude. Familiarity with health and safety regulations (including COSHH). Ability to manage time effectively and handle administrative tasks with accuracy.
