Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations within the kitchen or restaurant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. Manage and motivate team members, fostering a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and high performance. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring that culinary standards are met consistently. Implement and enforce food safety regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment. Assist in training new staff members on operational procedures, culinary techniques, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with management to develop menus, manage inventory, and control costs effectively. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of individuals. Experience in bartending or food production is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
