We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our leisure facility.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in FOH and kitchen management, and the ability to supervise a medium sized team effectively. This role involves ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service while maintaining a positive working environment. The Supervisor will play a vital role in coordinating activities, managing staff, and upholding the organisation's reputation for excellence.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth operation during shifts
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with food safety regulations
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise productivity and service delivery
Monitor food production to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation
Enforce health and safety policies within the establishment, including proper handling of food, cleaning procedures.
Support staff development through coaching and direct feedback
Manage stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies
Handle/ escalate customer complaints or concerns professionally to uphold customer satisfaction
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the FOD and BOH areas at all times
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a retail, hospitality or restaurant environment
Strong licensing knowledge
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Sound understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Leadership qualities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality industry practices, including barista, bar and/ or waiting experience.
Hospitality background is advantageous
