About the Role
This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour flexible contract, working 5 out of 7 days per week.
Role Overview
In this role, you'll work closely with team members and management to support the store's day-to-day operations. You'll be expected to evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service. The position also involves assisting with staff supervision both on the shop floor and within the warehouse.
Customer Service
Lead by example to provide excellent customer service
Professionally handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints
Ensure staff appearance and conduct meet company standards
Merchandising
Ensure all pricing is accurate, clear, and legally compliant
Monitor stock levels and ensure correct rotation and storage on a daily basis
Training & Development
Support the induction and training of new team members
Promote continuous development and ensure the completion of required E-Assessments
Skills, Experience & Requirements
Previous supervisory experience is an advantage
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Confident in leading and motivating a team in alignment with company values
Additional Responsibilities
Adhere to chill chain and food safety temperature regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all work areas
Follow stock control procedures accurately
Comply with all health and safety policies
Support other departments as needed
Undertake any reasonable tasks required to support business operations
