We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our establishment. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and overall kitchen operations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth. Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, complying with health and safety standards. Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new recipes or specials. Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and staff performance.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required. Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Previous roles in food production or kitchen environments are highly advantageous. Background in serving or barista experience will be considered a plus. A passion for delivering excellent customer service within the hospitality industry.
