Role Overview



We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic

Supervisor

to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Hall and support the successful delivery of events. This role plays a crucial part in upholding the standards and traditions of the Livery while coordinating closely with in-house teams and Graysons to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Oversight:


Supervise the preparation and delivery of events, ensuring venue spaces are presented immaculately and in accordance with client specifications.

Team Leadership:


Lead, guide, and support front-of-house and facilities teams throughout shifts, ensuring professionalism and teamwork.

Collaboration with Graysons:


Work closely with Graysons' catering team to align service timings, layouts, and event logistics. Foster a collaborative relationship to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverage services.

Client & Guest Engagement:


Serve as a primary point of contact during events, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly, and representing the Hall with discretion and poise.

Health, Safety & Compliance:


Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including fire safety, licensing conditions, and hygiene standards in coordination with Graysons and other service providers.

Facilities & Inventory:


Monitor hall equipment, linen, and supplies; report maintenance needs; and support stock control measures.

Event Logistics:


Support the execution of a variety of events, from formal livery dinners and receptions to modern corporate functions.

Administrative Support:


Assist in maintaining records, staff rotas, operational checklists, and incident reports.

Skills and Experience



Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, heritage, or events settings. Strong coordination and multitasking abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working with or alongside catering contractors. Professional, polished appearance and conduct. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Familiarity with formal dining service styles and livery traditions is advantageous.
