Duties
Oversee daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Supervise and train staff, promoting a collaborative team environment while enhancing individual skills.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Assist in food preparation and cooking when necessary, showcasing culinary expertise.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and readily available for production.
Implement effective serving strategies to enhance guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is highly desirable.
Background in serving or barista roles is an advantage.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
