Job Summary

We are seeking both a full time and part time Supervisor to join a dedicated and experienced team in a newly opened Scottish Bar and Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading shifts, managing staff, performing opening and closing procedures, and nightly cash up duties. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. A background in hospitality management is advantageous, along with an ability to provide excellent customer experiences.

Duties

Supervise and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Communicate with the leader of large bookings to tailor their experience. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team effectiveness. Be a trusted keyholder. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Ensure all staff are creating drinks to the same high standard. Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality management preferrable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers and team members. Team management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead by example. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base. Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Proficient in using hospitality management software and tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.44-23.22 per hour
