We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food production, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

At Top Cut, we're all about quality cuts, bold flavours, and a buzzing dining experience. Our menu is short and will be focused on providing affordable cuts with more bespoke steak specials - all in a lively, high-volume setting.

Salary of 13.15 per hour plus your share of tronc, this will come from a discretionary 10% service charge. We expect this to be a minimum of 3 an hour

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and production processes. Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items. Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as needed, demonstrating culinary skills to inspire the team.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques. Experience in team management with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. Previous culinary experience is highly desirable; barista experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
