, you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the venue during your shift. This includes managing staff, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all guests, coordinating events and parties, and addressing any issues that arise. You'll play a key role in maintaining a fun, safe, and professional environment for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day venue operations during scheduled shifts
Lead and support front-of-house and activity staff across all attraction areas
Oversee setup and delivery of parties and private events (birthday parties, corporate bookings, etc.)
Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues or complaints professionally and efficiently
Monitor and maintain health & safety procedures across all activities
Conduct daily safety checks and activity equipment inspections
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all attraction and party areas
Cash handling, daily reports, and end-of-day reconciliation
Train and mentor new staff; assist with performance reviews and coaching
Communicate effectively with management team on stock levels, maintenance issues, and customer feedback
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in leisure, hospitality, or entertainment
Experience managing or working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Knowledge of health & safety protocols in an activity-based venue (training provided if needed)
Calm under pressure, with a proactive and hands-on approach
First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Must be 18+ (due to axe throwing and late-night events licensing regulations)
