We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our newly opened venue in Hathersage. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality excellence, ensuring that every aspect of the business excels, from food and drink service, to the retail offering.
Duties
Managing the venue in the absence of the General Manager and leading a close knit team of front of house staff, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
Coordinate drink preparation and presentation to ensure products are served consistently.
Implement and maintain food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among staff members.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of wine is a bonus but not necessary.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
