We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Hospitality Assistant to join our team in Hertford Heath, United Kingdom. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience by providing top-notch service and support across various aspects of our operations.

Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders, serving meals, and clearing tables Support event setup and breakdown, ensuring spaces are prepared according to specifications Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, event spaces, and service stations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally Assist in inventory management and restocking of supplies Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth overall operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in food and beverage operations preferred Excellent product knowledge of food and beverages Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good time management and organizational abilities Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset Good presentation skills and professional appearance
