Overview

Love and Rockets are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, coupled with exceptional leadership skills. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that our team delivers outstanding service. You will play a pivotal role in managing the bar staff, maintaining high standards of food and drink preparation, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant/bar.

Duties

Knowledge of venue license and operations - ensuring staff follow COSHH procedures, Challenge 25 etc. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Implement company training programmes for ew starters with consistent tracking and recording of progress Opening and closing procedures End of night procedures: Cashing up, securing the venue and effective handovers Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction. Contribute to staff hiring were required

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Proven experience in team management and supervising staff within a restaurant or bar setting. Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry, with an eagerness to help others succeed in their roles.
