Duties

Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation teams, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Help resolve any issues that arise during service, ensuring customer satisfaction is always the top priority. Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members to encourage growth and improvement. At times doing supply run stock checking Oversee the daily running of the shop.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with staff and customers alike. A background in cooking or culinary arts is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift
