Required Skills & Experience:Previous experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment -- ideally some supervisory or team-lead experience.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills -- comfortable interacting with guests and team members alike.
Good knowledge of beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), cocktail preparation, service presentation and bar equipment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and possibly holidays or special events.
Familiarity with licensing regulations, health & safety and cash handling.
Organised, proactive, able to adapt to fast-paced and changing situations.
Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate bar staff to provide consistent, high quality service.
Supervise opening, running and closing of shifts: ensuring bar areas are clean, well-stocked, and ready for service.
Monitor and manage stock, including drink inventory, ordering and storage, to maintain cost control and minimise wastage.
Ensure adherence to licensing laws, health & safety and food hygiene standards.
Handle guest enquiries, complaints or issues professionally, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Coordinate with other departments (kitchen, floor staff, events) to ensure seamless operations.
Assist management in meeting sales targets, analising performance metrics and recommending improvements.
