Cafe Supervisor

Woodworks Garden Centre & Cafe, Mold

Full-time - 37.5 hours per week | 13.21 per hour

Working 5 days over 7 (weekend availability essential)

We're on the lookout for a confident, hands-on Cafe Supervisor to help lead our friendly front-of-house team at the Woodworks Cafe - part of the award-winning Woodworks Garden Centre in Mold.

This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make service shine. Shifts are typically between 8am and 5pm, with weekend work a core part of the rota (but no late nights).

What you'll be doing:

As Cafe Supervisor, you'll support the Senior Supervisor in keeping the cafe running smoothly - stepping up in their absence to manage day-to-day service, lead the front-of-house team, and deliver the warm, welcoming experience our customers love.

You'll:

Take responsibility for bookings, table service, and till operations Support team training, shift planning, and staff development Collaborate closely with the kitchen to keep service efficient and friendly Maintain high standards in food hygiene, allergen awareness, and customer care Cash up, manage stock levels, and ensure service areas are always ready Handle any customer issues confidently and professionally

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality supervisory role Strong leadership and organisational skills A proactive, approachable attitude and a calm head under pressure Confidence handling customer feedback and resolving issues A genuine passion for great service and good food
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a bustling, community-focused cafe.
