Duties
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Coordinate food preparation and production activities to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Train and mentor new employees in food preparation techniques, hospitality practices, and kitchen operations.
Assist in the development of menus and special offerings that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of food production processes, kitchen safety protocols, and food preparation techniques.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
