Role Requirements







The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the



production process and ensure readiness for all manufacturing



operations. You will be joining a busy production environment and will be expected to assist in method improvement for products manufactured on a range of turning and milling CNC tools



Duties and Responsibilities






Manage all production processes to ensure a smooth execution for all manufacturing operations within EFACS.



Ensure all documentation is issued to the shopfloor in a timely manner.



Work in conjunction with stores/goods inwards to ensure all materials and kits are available for manufacture.



Ensure all ECNs are captured and processed.



Ensure production control procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.



Monitor plan v actual; ensure Part masters are updated to support future bids.



Manage resources so that planning is complete in a timely manner through delegation of work.



Communicate and provide feedback to the Master Scheduler regarding any routing amendments



Attend pre-production meetings (PPM's) to represent the production department and ensure that any concerns or complications are highlighted.



Drive a culture of 5S workplace organization, H&S & quality.



Provide advice and assistance to the Sales Department to enable quotations to be accurate in terms of cost and lead time.

Ensuring a safe working environment is critical. Competencies in health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and accident prevention is essential for maintaining a safe workplace and should be evaluated and reported on a regular basis

Skilled in analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and making effective decisions under pressure





Team Leadership and Management:



Lead and motivate teams members along with demonstrating, Strong leadership skills.





Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement:



Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Kaizen would be an advantage.





Technical Knowledge:



Possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the production process, including equipment, machinery, materials, and relevant technologies.



High attention to detail



Excellent written and verbal skill



Excellent organizational skills



Self-starter with a positive 'can do' attitude

Job Requirements




Qualifications






Engineering background essential with a good all-round knowledge of manufacturing processes



Experience of scheduling CNC machining operations and outside services desirable



Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOM's wil be an advantage



Be able to work independently under pressure



Fully IT proficient in typically used applications to both manage information and generate work instructions



Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies



Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis



Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies



Proven track record of effective team leadership, motivation, and development
