Supervisor (Seasonal dept.)

We are recruiting for the exciting role of Supervisor, who will work within our busy Seasonal department responsible for garden furniture and barbeques, and Christmas.

What does the role involve?

As a Supervisor, you will support with the running of the Seasonal department. Reporting to the Department Manager, you will work closely with the Seasonal team and other departments to deliver a first-class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service. Order product using our retail management system. Ensure Garsons merchandising and housekeeping standards of the department are maintained. Ensure displays are innovative, practical, and maintained, and that these are refreshed on a regular basis. Communicate effectively at all levels. Carry out everyday duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; lifting and moving stock. Be responsible for the whole department in the absence of your Line Manager. Assist your Line Manager in their role and undertake any task as deemed reasonable.

What skills and experience do you need?

Retail shop floor experience within a busy environment. Competent and confident with computer work. Enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team. Be able to work on their own initiative.

Contract:

This is a permanent full-time role.

Salary:

From 27,864 to 28,320 per annum (depending on experience).

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.40pm with a contracted day off each week, plus working alternate weekends.
