This job is located in Newport in Shropshire, close to Telford
Duties:
- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the pub, including food production, catering, and coffee services
- Provide support to bartending staff during busy periods or special events
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Help train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as social media
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of food production, catering, and coffee services
- Bartending experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Cellar experience
