Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the food and beverage industry, working in a vibrant and welcoming setting. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working with people and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all food safety standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and service Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Serve customers promptly with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Assist in food preparation tasks when required, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation Manage time effectively to serve customers quickly without compromising quality

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of

food safety

standards is desirable Experience in
