As we continue to expand, we are seeking to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced joiner looking to step into a supervisory position or someone already operating at supervisory level. You should hold SSSTS or be actively working towards achieving it.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for supervising joinery works on site while also carrying out hands-on joinery work when required. You will play a key role in ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily joinery activities on site.
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
Carry out joinery tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure standards are consistently met.
Support and guide joiners and apprentices as needed.
Liaise effectively with site management, subcontractors, and other trades.
Maintain clear communication and provide excellent customer service.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Fully qualified joiner with proven experience in construction or refurbishment projects.
SSSTS qualification or currently working towards achieving it.
Valid CSCS card.
Full UK Driving Licence (clean).
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience is desirable.
High attention to detail with excellent standards of workmanship.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and lead as part of a wider team.
Flexibility to travel between job sites as required.
