Duties

Manage and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring that offerings meet customer expectations and dietary requirements. Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience within the hospitality setting. Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and culinary arts within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and guest interactions. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
