Clip 'n Climb within the Metrocentre, Gateshead is part of the bigger global brand of Bandai Namco, the lead creators in the world of entertainment. Branching out from its staple design of Funscape sites scattered across the UK, which features bowling, dodgems, soft play, arcades, food and drink, they opened Clip 'n Climb in 2019.

The first in its unique location, fish bowled in the middle of the Metrocentre mall, we have 360 degree views over the 2 floors. 23 Climbing spots, 24ft walls, a state-of-the-art interactive Valo climbing wall and a 24ft Vertical Drop Slide. We also have a small cafe area for those preferring a relaxed coffee and cake, leaving the heights to the daring. Open 364 days a year, all day every day, our team has shown themselves and proved to everyone how dedicated and motivated they are to our customers.

Supervisor - Clip 'n Climb

Location: Gateshead, Metrocentre

Contract: 30 hours per week

Rate of Pay: 12.71 per hour

Are you ready to take your next step in an exciting, high-energy environment? Clip 'n Climb is a fun, family-friendly climbing experience, and we're on the lookout for a proactive, enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Supervisor at Clip 'n Climb, you'll play a key role in supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the centre. You'll lead by example, ensuring our guests have a fantastic, safe and memorable experience while overseeing and motivating a team of instructors and reception staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising climbing sessions and ensuring all safety procedures are followed Delivering excellent customer service and handling guest queries or issues Leading, motivating and supporting the team during shifts Assisting with staff training and daily briefings Carrying out opening and closing procedures Supporting management with health & safety, stock control and admin tasks
About You:

We're looking for someone with great people skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Previous supervisory experience in a customer-facing, leisure, retail or hospitality environment is preferred, but not essential -- we'll provide all the training you need.

You'll need to be:

Confident, approachable and a natural leader Comfortable working at height (full training will be provided) Able to work in a fast-paced, active environment Available to work a flexible rota, including weekends, evenings and school holidays
