This is an office-based post with the option to work from home one day per week. This is a flexible arrangement and may need to be changed dependent on service demand.
Salary range Band 1 24,413 - 24,796 (pro rata 3,367 - 3,420)

Trafford Music Service is open for Music lessons from 3.30pm up to 8.30pm Monday Friday Saturday 9.00am 12.30pm. The successful candidate will be required to work every Friday evening in term time 4.00pm 9.00pm
Additional working requirements
All Supervisory Assistants are required to work 3 weekends per year on Sundays to support concerts.
About the Role
Trafford Music Service is a Council service providing instrumental music lessons and ensemble opportunities for children in Trafford both in schools and at our Music Centre in Sale. We have a diverse range of music education provision which offers an exciting and dynamic work environment. We have a motivated, dedicated and friendly staff team.
We are looking to recruit a Supervisory Assistantto ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils whilst attending the Music Centre. Our Supervisory Assistants are the first point of contact with our parents and pupils and have a key role in safeguarding our pupils whilst they are in our building.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
You will be the first point of welcome and contact for parents and pupils on arrival at our centre
You will be required to support our pupils in signing in and out of the building
You will be required to support with fire drills and first aid procedures.
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients including school children.
An interest in music in education, the community and young people would be an advantage.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure
