Finance and Corporate Services enables the FCA to deliver its strategy efficiently and securely by optimising resources, strengthening controls, and providing expert operational support. The Supplier Management Framework team ensures consistent, organisation-wide oversight of suppliers, contracts, and third-party risks, embedding best practices to strengthen delivery and accountability.

Role responsibilitiesProvide hands-on support to Contract Managers and Accountable Executives to embed SMF principles, tools and processes into contract day-to0-day management activities Engage with internal and external stakeholders of different seniorities to raise awareness, support delivery and actively engage with the Contract Management Community of Practice Brief contract managers on required training, providing support and guidance throughout the process Monitor adoption and effectiveness of the SMF, identifying barriers to implementation and working with stakeholders within the wider business to resolve issues and refine approaches Monitor and report on completion rates to relevant stakeholders, helping contract managers understand how the training related to their specific roles and responsibilities

Skills required

Minimum:Prior experience in contract and supplier management Prior experience within the financial services or public sector

Essential:Strong communication skills, both written and oral Good prioritisation skills to help balance a busy workload Ability to articulate key details to relevant stakeholders Proficient in articulating key details to relevant stakeholders across the business
