Job Description

Monster Group is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Supply Chain Assistant Manager to help drive the performance of our end-to-end supply chain. You'll oversee forecasting, purchasing from Asia, container movements, inventory flow into UK/EU warehouses, and product improvement activities - while leading a small, capable and growing team.

This is a hands-on role combining operational delivery with strategic thinking. You'll work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to enhance forecasting accuracy, optimise stock levels, reduce excess, and improve supply chain efficiency. You'll also support the adoption of new technologies, including AI tools, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do



Oversee forecasting, purchasing, supplier management, logistics, and inventory flow. Manage the ordering process with Asian suppliers and track inbound container movements. Lead and develop the Supply Chain team, conducting 1:1s and supporting performance. Analyse data to improve forecasting, stock availability, stock turn, and cost efficiency. Support product improvement projects and oversee compliance activities via the team. Implement process improvements and help integrate new systems/AI tools. Maintain strong commercial awareness and support strategic decision-making.

What We're Looking For



Experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or demand planning. Strong analytical skills with excellent Excel ability. Experience using ERP/forecasting/WMS systems (Orderwise/StockIQ beneficial but similar systems welcome). Confident communicator with people management experience. Highly organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Openness to adopting new technologies and supporting continuous improvement. Attention to detail is a must in this role.

Working hours and location:



The role is full time - starting between 8.00am and 9.30am, and finish between 4.00pm and 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes or 1 hour for lunch), and you will be based at our modern offices near York (YO60 6PG) 5 days a week, so having your own transport is essential.
