We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
Supply Chain & Compliance Coordinator
. This role combines coordination of logistics operations, customer service, quality assurance, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will be methodical, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
Organise and optimise round-robin collections across the customer base UK, EU and USA using creative and efficient planning.
Liaise with customers via phone and email to schedule collections, trace consignments, and manage logistical queries.
Develop in depth understanding of customs procedures to efficiently handle DDP / DAP imports and exports end to end.
Manage asset tracking data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Providing weekly reporting to line manager
Raise collection notes, process goods-in paperwork, and accurately upload data into CRM systems.
Provide logistical cover and support for order processing and warehouse operations when required (e.g., during holidays).
Customer Service & Account Management
Deliver a high standard of rapid customer service, acting as a key point of contact for client accounts. All requests dealt with speed and efficiency
Handle low-level sales enquiries, discuss customer requirements, and manage orders from initiation through to fulfilment.
Develop comprehensive technical product knowledge over time to confidently discuss offerings with customers.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Take a lead role in maintaining and advancing BRC certification and other accreditations.
Support the company in meeting Quality Assurance, Accreditation, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
Maintain accurate records and databases related to QA, compliance, and health & safety documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems and apps.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable phone manner.
Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and optimise logistical operations.
Experience in customer service and order management.
Knowledge of quality assurance systems (BRC or similar) and compliance processes.
Understanding of transport or pallet network operations (advantageous but not essential).

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
