We're looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Procurement team and keep our laboratory operations running smoothly. This newly created role sits at the heart of purchasing, stock control and distribution, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure a seamless flow of goods.

Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 dependent upon experience

The Day to Day
Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain, from purchase order placement to delivery and stock availability
Manage back orders, supplier alternatives and order progression to minimise disruption
Monitor supplier performance and report risks, issues and disruptions at site meetings
Support demand planning and forecasting with procurement, warehouse and operational teams
Act as a key supplier contact, managing relationships and performance against KPIs
Support supplier onboarding and ensure regulatory and company compliance
Identify alternative suppliers to mitigate risk and performance issues
Lead a small administrative team responsible for raising and chasing purchase orders, including PDRs and regular 1:1s
Manage supplier complaints, investigations and corrective actions through to closure
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to align ordering, stock levels and system capacity
Support stock control activities, reducing excess or obsolete stock
Collaborate with laboratory, quality and finance teams to ensure smooth operations
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and waste minimisation
Support audits and maintain compliant supply chain documentation
The Essentials
Experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics coordination
Experience managing an administrative team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Proactive, detail-focused and solutions driven
Competent in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems
Experience in a laboratory, analytical testing or regulated environment
Understanding of quality systems and supplier performance management
Experience working closely with warehouse or inventory teams
Highly organised, collaborative and resilient
Commercially aware with a continuous improvement mindset
